Georgia Quinn is a documentary filmmaker & impact strategist working on the unceded Gadigal land of Sydney, Australia.

With a background in the NGO sector, the arts and events, I discovered a passion for filmmaking as a means to make audiences think twice and help share under-represented stories. I love all facets of production - from research, to being in the field, to crafting a story in the edit room as well as shaping the audience experience.

My series, STUDIO A, about neurodiverse artists, aired on ABC TV in July 2019 and is currently on ABC iview. As an AP/Producer I’ve worked on local and international productions for ABC, Al Jazeera English, AFP, SBS, and a number of independent production companies in Australia.

In 2019 I worked at Together Films in London, developing and rolling out the strategy and outreach for 2040 in the UK. This placement was supported by Screen Australia’s Enterprise People grant. I returned to Australia to work on the Impact Campaign for IN MY BLOOD IT RUNS (Maya Newell), and associate produce feature documentary UNSEEN SKIES (In Films/Participant Media).
